  • Example: If your goal is to quit drinking forever, break it down into smaller goals like making it 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, and so forth. Completing these smaller hurdles creates positive reinforcement. The longer you go, the easier it gets. And don’t forget to celebrate along the way!
